The automakers worldwide are keen on releasing small and low-budget cars. These days the Indian car market is focused on cost effective and low maintenance cars. The largest auto maker in India, Hyundai is set to enter in the small car segment and going to launch a compact car, Hyundai H800. The Hyundai H800 car is likely to be launched in November 2011 and customers are eagerly waiting for it.
The new Hyundai H800 compact car will be a modest version of Hyundai Santro Xing but it is smaller than Santro. The car will feature an independent type front and beam type rear suspension that will provide more stability and comfort.
The Hyundai H800 will have a three cylinder 800cc of power train engine thus will have to compete with the Maruti Alto and Tata Nano. The company claims that it will deliver significantly better power and fuel efficiency than its rivals. The engine will be able to produce around 50 bhp of peak power.
The new Hyundai H800 car will be equipped with 5 speed manual gearbox for required acceleration. According to the close sources, the hatchback version of the compact car will be available below Rs 3 lakhs.
