The Honda City has been one of the most favourite mid range sedan in the world since 1996. It has been the bestselling car of India. Now, Honda is planning to introduce a diesel version of Honda City in the Indian market. This is to be expected that the car will hit the Indian roads by mid 2012.
The Honda City Diesel will come with a 1.4L iCTDi (intelligent Common Rail Turbocharged Direct Injection) diesel engine that will be able to deliver a max power of 100 bhp.

The Audi A5 is a coupe produced by the German auto manufacturer Audi since 2007. Audi A5 is available in three variants in International market – Audi A5 Cabriolet, Audi A5 Coupe and five-door Audi A5 Sportback. Almost two years after introducing the petrol version of its small car Tata Nano, India’s largest vehicle manufacturer Tata Motors Ltd is all set to launch a diesel version of this car in the Indian auto market. The Tata Nano Diesel car will have the world’s smallest diesel engine. According to the official, the engine will be completely developed in India.
The Tata Nano Diesel is expected to hit the Indian roads by 2012 but exact date of launch has not been declared yet.

The Honda is all set to unveil the diesel version of its most popular model Accord, Honda Accord Diesel. The possible reason of the launching of Honda Accord Diesel in Indian market could be rising petrol price or falling sales of petrol driven Honda Cars in the country. The diesel version of the car will have the same body and styling as the existing Honda Accord.
The Honda Accord Diesel is likely to be introduced in India by the first quarter of 2012.

Maruti Suzuki is aggressively working on Maruti Cervo to unveil it in the Indian auto market that will replace Maruti’s iconic and oldest small car, Maruti 800. Maruti Suzuki Cervo is expected to be launched in the country by the first quarter of 2012. The car will be an entry level model and shelved in the price range of Rs 1.5 lakh to Rs 2.4 lakh. Chevrolet is planning to get into the ultra compact segment as well an all-new 800cc Spark. The Chevrolet Spark 800cc is expected to be launched in the Indian auto market by the second quarter of 2012. The car will be competing with the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Alto, Tata Nano and Maruti 800.
The Chevrolet’s lowest priced Spark 800cc model is powered by a 795cc SOHC 3-cylinder petrol engine which is capable of churning out 51 hp of max power and 68.6 Nm of top torque at 4600 rpm.

India’s most prominent car maker Tata Motors Limited is all set to introduce its electrically driven compact car, the Tata Indica Vista Electric in India. The Tata Indica Vista Electric will be the second electric car in India after the Mahindra Reva G-Wiz. The concept model was presented at Delhi Auto Expo 2010 and 79th Geneva Motor Show.
The Tata Indica Vista Electric hatchback model is being developed at Tata Motor European Technical Center.

The US based car manufacturer General Motors is going to introduce the fifth generation of its luxury sports sedan, the Chevrolet Camero. It is expected that the Chevrolet Camero will be launched in the Indian auto market by the end of this year. The Volkswagen Touareg is a mid-size crossover SUV produced by German car manufacturer Volkswagen since 2002.
