The Volkswagen Vento is a sedan car manufactured by the automobile giant Volkswagen India since 2010. New Volkswagen Vento is an extended version of the hatchback Volkswagen Polo, which is equipped with several advanced features. The vehicle is manufactured at Volkswagen’s new factory at Chakan in Pune.
Volkswagen Vento comes in both petrol and diesel versions. Both the engines are same as used in new VW polo i.e. 1.6 L petrol and diesel engines.

The Volkswagen Touareg is a mid-size crossover SUV produced by German car manufacturer Volkswagen since 2002. The company has showcased most anticipated Volkswagen Touareg at the Auto Expo 2012 as well. The car was named after the “Tuareg people”, a group in North Africa. It is co-developed with Porsche.
The five-seater Volkswagen Touareg SUV competes with the classy Mercedes-Benz M Class. The car is more spacious and definitely to come with better looks and advanced features.

A German car manufacturer Volkswagen is planning to introduce its crossover Sports Utility Vehicle, the Volkswagen Rocktan soon in the Indian market. The Volkswagen Rocktan is expected to be launched in India by the end of 2012. The car will be a low priced city crossover SUV and will compete with the likes of Nissan Juke and Toyota Urban Cruiser.
The upcoming Volkswagen Rocktan is a result of collaboration between Volkswagen and Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MISL).The new car is based on Suzuki SX4 and will come in both petrol as well as diesel versions.

Volkswagen Tiguan is a Compact Crossover Vehicle (CUV) and based on the PQ35 platform of the Volkswagen Golf. Tigaun was first showcased at the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show and was introduced as a 2008 model for Europe. The company is planning to launch the car by 2012 in India and to compete with Ford Endeavour, Honda CR-V, and most awaited Hyundai Santa Fe.
Volkswagen Tigaun will be loaded with the extremely powerful 2.0 litre, turbo 4-cylinder engine, which delivers 200 bhp of max power and 207 Nm of torque with 6-speed manual or auto transmission gearbox.

The German auto giant has decided to unveil its smallest car named Volkswagen Up, part of the Volkswagen Group New Small Family (NSF). Volkswagen Up was launched at the Frankfurt Motor Show 2011 and will hit Indian shores by early 2012.
Volkswagen Up will compete with the leading competitors such as Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai. The company is planning to introduce the new model in three body style – 2-door hatchback, a 4-door hatchback version and a 4-door wagon carrying longer wheelbase.

Volkswagen company group is looking out to bring Style Seat to India. The launch of Seat in India will however increase the economy scale of the Volkswagen company group. This launch will bring out more benefit for the company. This would nevertheless increase the market share rate.
There exists an overlap between the Skoda products and Volkswagen product and so it would be very difficult however for the group to bring out a Spanish product to India.

German car maker Volkswagen is now gearing up to launch its much-awaited 2011 Volkswagen Jetta luxury sedan in India. The new-generation sedan car Volkswagen Jetta is expected to be available in the Indian auto market soon this year. The car was globally introduced last year.
The new Volkswagen Jetta car is partly based on the PQ35 platform which has been used in Volkswagen Golf, Skoda Superb and Skoda Yeti. The car has clean and simple stylish lines with large taillight as well as L shaped stoplight.
