The world’s largest auto manufacturer Toyota Motor Corp. is now planning to launch its face-lifted Toyota Innova in India. This is to be expected that this new car will hit the Indian roads by the mid of 2012. The test mules of the new Toyota Innova were seen in Thailand.

The Toyota Innova will get a more refreshed and updated look. It will feature a redesigned front grill, fog lamps, two red reflectors on the front & rear bumpers and re-worked headlamps. The car will be powered by the same engine specifications – 2.5 litre D-4D diesel engine and 2 litre VVT – I petrol engine in Indian market.

The new Toyota Innova also features a rear windshield wiper and a rear view camera. It will have premium quality materials on the interiors. The main focus of the car is updated interior and better space utilization. The new Toyota Innova has new premium material, a new stylish instrumental panel and other features.

The new Toyota Innova is supposed to be available with the price tag of Rs 8.1 lakh and around Rs 12.4 lakh for its top-variant. This new car will give tough competition to the Mahindra Xylo and the Tata Sumi Grande.
