A small car made under the Honda badge was named as the Honda Brio and it is expected to be launched, somewhere in the month of October this year. Now this news is just humming around and it has made the Indian Automobile Market to heat up already. It has been long since Honda has been under the scanner for not having a diesel engine car running on the our roads. And due to this it has created in Honda India fade of cars the diesel car segment had literally affected the overall sales of all of the Honda cars as compared to its contenders which have been offering the diesel variants like the Volkswagen Vento and Maruti Suzuki SX4. But, with the changing times the Honda too is all set to have a go at selling its diesel version of cars in our car market. This in effect has made the Japanese car maker to think of offering a diesel engine to its Honda Brio in the future also.

These days as the prices of petrol are soaring high, the diesel cars in Indian market are getting the popular vote of all the buyers. And Honda is seen finally gearing up for the scheme of providing Honda Brio in a diesel version pretty soon. The automobile experts believe that it could really act as a strong comeback of the Japanese car maker into the Indian Auto market all over once again. According to the present scenario, hatchback and diesel cars are really dominating the roost as far as the Indian car sector is concerned and this situation will in effect be beneficial for the Honda Brio’s diesel variant as well and the company also. Honda is gonna launch the diesel variants of its other models also. It is said that this development will hopefully take place in the fiscal of 2013 -2014.
