The India’s second largest car manufacturer, Hyundai Motor India Ltd. (HMIL) has proudly unveiled the brand new Hyundai Sonata in the Indian car market. The company showcased new Hyundai Sonata at the Auto Expo 2012, which was organized in January at New Delhi.

Hyundai Sonata sedan has been blessed with several features, including high intensity Xenon headlamps, ten way adjustable power seat, paddle shift, front seat warmers, traction control system, six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP, smart key entry and many more.

The new fluidic Hyndai Sonata sedan comes loaded with a powerful 2.4 L of GDI petrol engine, which can deliver 198 bhp of peak power at 6300 rpm along with 25.5 kgm of top torque at 4250 rpm. The engine is further mated with 6 speed automatic and manual transmission with paddle shifter, depending on the model. It gives a decent fuel efficiency of 13.5 kmpl from manual transmission, while 12 kmpl of mileage is delivered by automatic transmission.

New Hyundai Sonata sedan will be available in four different shades – Crystal White, Sleek Silver, Sliky Beige and Black Diamond. The variant with the manual transmission has been priced at Rs 18.53 lakh while the variant with automatic transmission has been priced at Rs 20.61 lakh.
