The price of Hyundai Elantra will fall in the bracket of Rs. 13 lakh to Rs. 16 lakh. The car looks good and will give a tough competition to its rivals like Honda Civic, Skoda Laura, Volkswagen Jetta and so on.

The new 2012 Hyundai Elantra targets the youngsters of the country within the age of 30 to 40 year. The vehicle is also known as Hyundai Avante in North America and Lantra in Australia and some European markets.

New Hyundai Elantra is available in both petrol and diesel variants. The petrol version of the car comes loaded with 1.8 litre of Dual VTVT engine that is capable to deliver max power of 146 bhp and generates max torque of 182 Nm, which makes the car fuel efficient. The engine is coupled with both 6-speed manual and automatic gear box. On the other hand, diesel version has 1.6L of CRDi VGT engine, which produces 126 bhp of power.

The Hyundai Elantra can deliver excellent mileage of 13 kmpl and can attain a top speed of 190 kmph.

Toyota Corolla was globally introduced in 1966 but in India, it made its debut in 2003. In the country, the Corolla Altis competes with Honda Civic, Skoda Octavia, VW Jetta, Chevrolet Cruze and Skoda Laura. The car is manufactured itself in India at Toyota Kirloskar Motors’ plant in Bangalore.

Toyota Corolla Altis is available in both petrol as well as diesel versions. Petrol unit of the car is powered by 1.8 L with dual variable valve timing with intelligent Dual VVT-i engine, which is capable of delivering a max power of 140 bhp and generates peak torque of 173 Nm. The engine is mated to a 6 speed manual transmission and the fuel supply system to the engine is electronic.

On the other hand, diesel unit of Toyota Corolla Altis has 1364cc D-4D engine with Variable Nozzle Turbo and Intercooler. The engine produces 88.4 PS of power along with 205 Nm of torque. The Corolla price in India ranges between Rs. 10.50 lakh to Rs. 15 lakh.

The new Renault Fluece strongly competes against the Toyota Corolla, the Skoda Laura, the Chevrolet Cruze, the Volkswagen Jetta, and the Honda Civic to prove its existence in India. The car is manufactured on Renault-Nissan C platform.

Renault has launched both the petrol and diesel variants of Renault Fluence in the country. The petrol version of Fluence comes with a 2.0L engine which is fitted with Advanced CVT II transmission including 6 speed automatic gear and Manual Mode, while the diesel variant is packed with 1.5L engine, added with Manual Type transmission with 6 forward, and 1 Reverse gear. Both of these variants are highly powerful and deliver optimum power.

The Renault Fluence has rigid chassis that provides comfortable, enjoyable and efficient riding experience on Indian roads. The car is available in four different colours in India – Glaciar White, Blue Escume, Ashe Biege and Pearl Black.

The price of new Renault Fluence is quite reasonable and varies between petrol and diesel variants, depending upon their features. Diesel variant of the Fluence can be bought at a price range of Rs 12.9 lakh to Rs 13.1 lakh, whereas the petrol variant of the Renault Fluence is available in a price bracket of Rs 14.3 lakh and Rs 14.5 lakh.

Now the company has officially confirmed the launch of its much-awaited new Skoda Laura RS on 31st August 2011 in India. This car was showcased at the 2010 Auto Expo.

The Skoda Laura RS car is likely to come with some new and latest features. The car will be powered by 1798cc, 4 Cylinders in line TSI engine which would be able to deliver maximum power of 160 Bhp along with 250 Nm of Torque.

The Skoda Laura RS was initially planned to sport 2.0-litre TSI engine that can produce 200 Bhp of power but the company shifted its plan to a 1.8-litre petrol turbocharged engine. However, the car is available with both diesel and petrol engines but the Indians will only get the petrol version.

The new Skoda Laura RS will feature 6 speed manual gearbox, front ventilated brakes, ground clearance of 164.00 mm, head lamp washers and tachometer. It will sport 2 air bags, 3 rear seat belts, fog lamps, ABS, EBD, ESP technology.

The Skoda Laura RS will also include impressive security features. The expected price of the new Laura Rs will be around Rs 17 lakhs in India.

The car is likely to be rolled-out in August 2011 and a few of models are gearing up for the road tests. Currently, the Fabia Scout is available in many foreign markets across the world.

With the new Skoda Fabia Scout car, the company wants to extend its portfolio in the country. Currently, the Fabia is the cheapest Skoda portfolio car in the country and is also the largest selling version of Fabia hatchback in the world.

Actually the Skoda Fabia Scout car is a re-make of Skoda Fabia hatchback and has the same engine as that of the Skoda Fabia hatchback. The car is equipped with a 1.6 litre petrol as well as 1.6 litre diesel engine in these markets. However, the new Fabia Scout is likely to be introduced with a smaller 1.2 litre engine.

The Skoda Fabia Scout has a rugged masculine look especially with the bumper and the off-road design. Recently, the car was spotted for testing on the Indian roads.
